” Choosing a different life isn’t about rejecting the norm, but about embracing your personal definition of happiness “
Welcome to our very first post on ‘WhereWeGo’. This is where we’re going to document our adventures as a digital nomad family. From the highs and lows to the tips and tricks we pick up along the way, we can’t wait to take you along on our journey. So, grab a cup of something good, get comfy, and let’s dive into this adventure together! 🌏✨🚐
Why a Blog, You Ask?
our journey as nomads didn’t start with a mere itch to travel. It was more profound – a quest to find the perfect environment for our children to grow up in, one filled with learning, nature, and boundless joy. We yearned for a life where skyscrapers were replaces by trees, and screen time by green time.
Education, But Not As You Know It
Our kids’ education is a mosaic of experiences. We’re not homeschooling, instead, we’re globe-schooling, seeking holistic educational setups where our kids can enroll for a few months at a time. Our dream? Schools that echo our beliefs – learning under the open sky, minimal to no screen time, and nourishing food that’s as closes to the earth as it can be.
Our Master Plan
Our approach to nomadic living is distinct and tailored to our desires. We plan to divide our year between Europe and various global destinations. From March through October, our hearts are set on soaking up the sun in Spain, while summer months are reserved for treasured family time in France and Germany.
Then, from November to February, we take flight to another corner of the globe, seeking a community that shares our passion for thriving, healthy living, and outdoor learning.
Sharing Our Story
We’re here to share this journey, not just to document our adventures, but to build a community. We believe there’s wisdom in crowds, especially crowds that share our passion for wholesome, nature-centric lifestyle.
So join us on this quest. Share your insights, laugh at our misadventures, and maybe, just maybe, help us find that great school or that perfect winter retreat.
Until next time,
Caro
